What makes a trucker cap

You can spot a trucker cap by three features: the tall foam panel at the front, the open mesh insert on the back panels and the snapback closure. The foam panel gives the cap its upright shape. The mesh provides ventilation – ideal for warm days and also a great choice if you wear it all year round. The snapback closure makes size charts unnecessary: infinitely adjustable, one size, fits head circumferences of approx. 55–60 cm.

Unlike the baseball cap, the trucker cap has this characteristic mesh back – airier, taller, more prominent in look. While snapback caps also come with a fully closed fabric back, the trucker cap is defined by this contrast: firm foam front, open mesh back.
