New Era

New Era caps are the standard other brands are measured by. At CapUniverse you'll find over 650 styles from €19.95 – from the classic 59Fifty to the everyday-ready 9Forty. The brand from Buffalo, New York, has been delivering caps that set the standard in the streetwear game for over 100 years – and the range at CapUniverse shows why.

59Fifty, 9Forty, 9Fifty & 39Thirty – which New Era model suits you?

Every New Era model has its own vibe. Here's the overview:

• 59Fifty (Fitted): The OG silhouette. Flat brim, structured front, no closure – you order your exact head size. Tell-tale sign: the green sticker under the brim. The cap the hip-hop game was built on.
• 9Forty (Strapback): The opposite. Curved brim, lightweight fabric, adjustable strap at the back. A relaxed fit that works with any look – allday, easy.
• 9Fifty (Snapback): Right in between. Flat brim like the 59Fifty, but with a Snapback closure. Structured, clean, a streetwear all-rounder.
• 39Thirty (Flexfit): Stretched construction with a flex band – adapts to your head, ideal if you're between two sizes. The everyday drop for a daily fit.

What sets the 59Fifty apart from the 9Forty is more than just the closure: it's the attitude. Fitted caps are a statement, strapback caps are for the crew who have no time for fuss.

Care, fit & delivery

Hand wash New Era caps made of wool or wool blend – never put them in the machine, as the fabric shrinks and loses its shape. Synthetic models (9Forty) are a bit more robust, but cold and gentle washing is still the rule here too. Shipping methods and estimated delivery times depend on your destination. Easy returns via CapUniverse.
