Snapback Caps

Snapback Caps – The Premier League of Adjustable Caps

FAQ: What is the difference between a Snapback Cap and a Strapback Cap?
Snapback caps can be adjusted with a snap tab (English „snapback“) at the back of the head. Strapback caps on the other hand have a fabric or leather strap tab with a metal buckle for stepless, individual size adjustment. Both belong to the so-called adjustable caps, meaning caps that can be adjusted.

Snapback caps are the epitome of modern cap style and are at the same time one of the most popular variants of adjustable caps. Adjustable caps refers to all cap models that can be individually adjusted to your head circumference thanks to flexible closure systems. These include snapback caps, strapback caps and retro models with hook-and-loop fastener.

Snapback Caps: Comfort that fits

Typical for every snapback cap is the adjustable snap closure made of plastic at the back of the head. It can be adjusted quickly, securely and precisely to your size – ideal for adults as well as for children and teenagers whose heads are still growing. A good alternative are the aforementioned strapback caps: here a strap made of fabric or leather together with a buckle holds the cap comfortably in any desired position.

Snapback caps stand for maximum wearing comfort and a rock-solid, secure fit – whether during sport, in everyday life or on the school playground. Models with hook-and-loop fastener add a touch of retro charm.

From Sport to Streetstyle – The Success Story of the Snapback Cap

The origins of the snapback cap lie in the 1950s, when it first came into the spotlight in the USA as a practical and stylish baseball cap with a flexible closure. From there it spread rapidly into other sports such as basketball and football. It quickly became a symbol of the hip-hop and music scene and eventually a central part of contemporary streetwear. Today, snapback caps are an absolute cult fashion accessory for women, men and children.

Many cap models, maximum flexibility

Whether classic baseball cap, refined 5-panel variant, trendy flat brim cap or airy trucker cap: thanks to a variable closure system, numerous cap types become adjustable caps.

The design universe of snapbacks is huge: from plain, solid-coloured models to striking caps with all-over prints, camouflage or cool pattern mixes. Particularly popular are caps with a large logo stitch, such as sports club emblems from the US leagues (MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL) – including icons like the New York Yankees Snapback, college teams or trendy brand logos. Embroidered eyelets and panels not only ensure a striking appearance but also a pleasant climate for your head.

For every head and every occasion

Thanks to the adjustable systems, adjustable caps (especially snapback and strapback caps) are always the right choice – for adults just as much as for kids. Snapbacks always sit comfortably and give your outfit a cool, sporty touch every time. Which caps are currently trending? Check out our trend blog now!
